HoofBeats Stable operates at two locations, one in Frederick MD on Jefferson Pike, and another in Hedgesville WV on Montevallo Ln, this is our Sanctuary!

Sanctuary

HoofBeats horses stay with us for life. HB Sanctuary is where our retired and semi retired horses live out their golden years! It's also where our youngsters grow up and learn to be a horse.

Forest

Arena

The Forest Arena is the riding, driving and training space at the Sanctuary. It includes a small round pen and a generally flat area for work. The trees provide wonderful shade and weather protection. We love symbiosis with our magical forest!

Gentle

and Quiet

Sanctuary horses are retired from the main lesson program due to age or limitations. However, they love attention and structure. The Sanctuary is the perfect setting for private lessons for those wanting a relaxing and gentle approach to their equine education.
